Oct 29, 2015 · Oct 29, 2015. #1. I have a Lenovo T420 Thinkpad with 180gb ssd which I expanded to 680gb. It comes with an Intel 2520m cpu (2 gen). It also comes with 2 pci express slots (*16). It only has a 1gb Nvidia NVS 4200. I would like to expand the graphic card. I want to know the graphics compatible with the processor and how much gc I can add. T420 X220 W520 + too damn many. I stuck a USB 3 card in mine. Couldn't really think of anything else. If you wanted native support, you could buy the smart card reader + cable + HDD cover and add it in yourself. Then you could add the USB 3 card as well. If I needed a smart card reader, I'd go that route - the ExpressCard34 smart card readers I.
